Weekly information - Wednesday 19th June 2019
The school has been contacted by the Barton Parish Council who have shared their concerns about the use of local areas within the Barton community, in particular Collinson Park.
The students have been spoken to in assemblies regarding their conduct in the local community, especially during out of school hours and we are requesting your support with this matter. Please can you to speak to your child regarding their conduct in the local community and reiterate the importance of behaving in a manner that is both respectful to the community and the local residents.
Many thanks for your support with this matter.

UNIFORM DONATIONS
Any donations of uniform items, no longer needed, would be gratefully received.
Any items including PE kits, ties etc., may be forwarded to the PTA for them to raise further funds for the school. Thank you!
It has been announced that the Early May Bank Holiday will be moving to Friday 8th, rather than Monday 4th May, to acknowledge the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
We are aware that this may impact on pre-existing bookings that may have already been made. If you are in the situation whereby bookings have been made prior to the Government announcement and evidence of this can be provided we will ensure these absences are authorised.
Now Y13 History pupils have completed their exams, would parents please ask their son/daughter to return both of their textbooks to the History department, if they have not already done so. This will allow us to process the refunds for deposits they paid for the books at the start of the term. Thank you.
