Dear Parent / Carer Welcome to the Year 12 Parents' Information Evening We recognise that as your son/daughter enters their final stage of high school education there is a wealth of information that parents need to be aware of to support their child. It is also our experience that, sometimes, teenagers only like to share ‘snippets’ of information when parents ask about their school day. Therefore, the purpose of this Information evening is to provide you with a range of resources that you can refer to in the convenience of your own home and to reiterate our expectations of our sixth form students. In addition, we have included two further videos for parents to understand the value of using Unifrog when supporting your son/daughter to choose and apply for their Post 18 pathway. As a parent, you can create a login on www.unifrog.org/sign-in by entering the form code johntaylorparents. This is also included in the video. We hope these video resources are informative. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Mr Brackstone and I look forward to working with you over the next two years. Please watch the videos in this order: Regards, Mrs Spencer |

The 16–19 Bursary Fund is a government-provided, means-tested fund available to support students who have difficulty in meeting costs relating to their studies. To qualify, you must be under 19 years of age on 31st August in the academic year in which you start your programme of study, and you will be expected to provide evidence of personal and/or financial hardship.
