The role of the PTA is to raise funds to enable school to purchase 'extras' to enhance our children's education. It's a great way to meet new parents and get involved with the school. PTA meetings are held once every half term. The Head of School or one of the leadership team are in attendance and will present a school topic. Recent Topics discussed include:
- Review of Y7 Transition
- School Improvement Plan
- Post-16 Education
- Student Behaviour Policy
- Uniform Policy
The PTA are often privileged to be the first to hear about changes to school systems and their opinions are sought. At the meetings feedback will be received from latest fundraising events (but planning of such events is normally discussed at separate meetings).
The PTA have recently provided
Projection equipment for the Hall (used for school productions, concerts, presentation/open evenings, assemblies etc.
Art dept - Ipads and cameras
Music Dept - Piano
PE Dept - outdoor equipment
We are currently fundraising for:
Outdoor netball nets/posts/covers for PE dept
Light-mixing desk for the hall to enhance productions, concerts etc.

How can you help?
Become involved with planning meetings for future fund-raising events.
Help with events, quiz nights, comedy night, raffles etc in whatever capacity you can.
Attend PTA/Information evenings.
Parents are encouraged to help as much as they feel able to.
