The U15 girl's Football Team has made John Taylor High School history by becoming the first girl's football team to ever lift the trophy as County Champions.
On Monday, the team faced De Ferrers in the final at Stafford Town FC, it was an outstanding performance from all involved. We sealed the title with a 7-2 victory. The team should be super proud of their achievement and the quality of football they played.

Uniform – Ties
Please can we ask parents/carers to speak with their child/children about their school ties. At present we are facing a number of issues, including:
- Forgotten ties.
- Lost ties that have not been replaced.
- Purposefully damaged ties.
There is a small number of ties we can lend to students on the odd occasion they may forget their tie, but this issue is becoming persistent and unmanageable.
As a reminder, ties are a compulsory part of the school uniform. When a tie is borrowed, students are required to leave an item of security to ensure it is returned at the end of the school day. If borrowed ties are lost, we will request the cost to be reimbursed by parents/carers.

As a reminder, the whole school transition to the new school uniform and PE kit completes in September 2023. It will be compulsory for all pupils across Year 7-11 to wear the new uniform and PE kit.
