The Children’s Commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, has launched The Big Ambition, a national survey of children and young people across England aged between 6 and 18 years old.
The Big Ambition aims to hear from children across England on what they think is important! In the lead up to the next General Election, the Children’s Commissioner wants to take children’s thoughts, opinions and ideas to decision-makers, to make sure that the Government hears young people’s voices on what they think needs to be done to make children’s lives better in England.
The Big Ambition survey will be open until Friday 15th December.

We would like to remind parents and students that once a student is on school site, they are to remain on site. If students come to school on a bus, they must not leave site at the start or the end of the day to go to the shop. Students who disregard this request will face an appropriate sanction. As soon as students are on school site, they are under our care. Leaving site makes this difficult.
The start and the end of the day are also very busy at the front of school with buses and taxis either dropping off or collecting students. We would politely request that parents do not drive onto school site to drop their children off at these times.
Some handy tips on how to get the most out of your experience of Facebook and how to ensure your children can do the same whilst remaining safe online.

A reminder that we are now able to offer the new Go4Schools app. This should make use of the system far easier, particuarly now that homework can be viewed through it. At present you can only see information regarding student timetables, homework and attendance although other information is under development.
For more information, including how to download the app, please access the flyer below:
Individual exam timetables for EXTERNAL EXAMS taking place in January and February 2019 were issued to pupils by their form tutors during tutor period on Wednesday 5th December 2018.
Individual exam timetables for Trial Exams taking place in January 2019 were issued to pupils, by their form tutors, during registration on Tuesday 4th December 2018
