Welcome to the Rosliston House page.

Our house is represented by the colour purple and we have a House badge, which features our emblem, the Rosliston bear.

As a House we have three Core values:

B – Believe: Pupils should positively believe in the school, their teachers and mostly importantly believe in their own ability to do well.

A – Achieve: Pupils should work to achieve their best in everything they do; in and out of school to be the best version of themselves, they can be.

R – Respect: Pupils should respect themselves and others to create a environment where all can be happy, safe and successful.

Every pupil is encouraged to constantly aim to raise their own BAR.

We are called Rosliston Bears because we aim to be successful through the effort we all put in.

B – Believe. A – Achieve. E – Effort. R – Respect. S – Success.

The Rosliston team is led by its designated House Learning Manager; with the support of a strong Sixth Form House Leader team.

As individuals, forms and as a House we aspire to embody these core values in everything we do. We look to recognise all students as individuals who can be their best and fully contribute to their house through their talents, personality and beliefs. All achievements, both in and out of school, are celebrated. We have Form cups that are presented in each assembly for the form and individual who have earned the most merits.

We have high expectations of our students and look to make it as easy of possible for all students to contribute and shape their House through active participation in form competitions, House Council, assemblies and charity work. Rosliston House currently fundraises and supports ‘Mind: for a better mental health’
